Sunday, February 24th was a beautiful, sunny day for Inaugural University of Colombo MBA Walk and Members’ Day, which was held at the UOC play grounds. This is one of the major events The MBA Alumni Association conducts. The enthusiastic alumni members and their families started to gather at the grounds from the early hours of the morning.The walk started at 10.00 am following the welcome speech by the UoCMBAAA President Hilary Fernando and the address dilivered by the Vice Chancelor Prof. Shanika Hirumburegama. Organising committee member Pubudu De Zoysa gave a safety briefing to all participants prior to embarking on the walk. More than 150 comprising the Vice chancellor, Dean, Faculty of Management and Finance & the Academic staff of the MBA Program, members of the association and their family members participated in the walk.
