10th AGM of CMBAAA

The 10th Annual General Meeting of the Colombo MBA Alumni Association (CMBAAA) was held on 06th July 2007 at the Colombo Continental Hotel.

The new office bearers and the Executive Committee for the year 2007/2008 were elected at the AGM. Hilary Fernando was elected as the President. Out going President Rohan Seneviratne handed over his duties to the new president on this occasion. The chief guest was distinguished Colombo MBA Alumnus, Mr. Lalith Weerathunge the Secretary to the His Excellency to the President.

The Colombo MBA Alumni Association represents over 250 Colombo University MBA Graduates.  The CMBAAA was originally set up in the year 1997 by a group of MBA graduates from University of Colombo who wished to further the interests of MBA graduates and also to make contribution to their Alma Mater and to the country with a vision “To be the first choice in business governance”.

CMBAAA has grown in stature during last decade and today it is a well known association with members working in diverse disciplines - corporate governance, general management, finance, marketing, IT, HR and administration in both private and public sector across a large part of Sri Lanka.

The 10th committee in office is yet another vibrating and dynamic team committed to serve the CMBAAA.
