CMBAAA organized a field trip to Orange Factory at Old Road, Navinne, Maharagama on 16th June 2007. Designed using the latest technology, Orange switches and sockets are produced in a state of the art factory that is the best of its kind in South Asia. With a commanding market share in excess of 80%, ORANGE products dominate the electric sphere in Sri Lanka and is rapidly growing in the region as well. The field visit commenced at 0900 hrs in the morning. Firstly a presentation on factory operations was carried out and there after participants were taken through factory production line. Participants had the opportunity to raise questions and engineers from Orange answered quarries raised by the participants. It was a very fruitful event for all the participants.
