"Members Day 2006" of the Colombo MBA Alumni Association was held on 12th November 2006
at the Colombo University Grounds.
There were about 50 participants including Colombo MBA Alumni members, their spouses and children. They participated in various games and fun events.
The children were entertained with games and the bouncer. The main attraction of the adult games was the inter-batch six-a-side
cricket tournament. Four teams took part for the tournament. The team lead by Rohan became the worthy winners of the tournament and the winning team comprised Krishan, Chris,
Ravishanker, Hemantha, Kivindu. Many took part
in other events such as tug of war (won by Pushpe's team), bun eating won by Deeptha, musical chairs (won by Rohan and Dase's daughter Hasara), Aliyata Aha Thabima (Won by
Master Kavindra, Kana Mutti (won by Tiran's wife
etc. These were followed by lunch and the Baila Competition. The best dancing couple was Kalyani and Anusha. Nihal Fernando
the one-man musical show kept everyone entertained with his lively repertoire.
